PC Board Tester
This system is a customer programmable sequential tester. The Sequence Display in the left hand window shows a list of tests to be performed by the system. Tests include NVRAM, POWER, SERIAL LOOP-BACK and other critical parameters which monitor the quality under test. The Test Display shows the results of each test. The test sequence and result display is customer programmable. In this type of system IAS creates the actual test routines performed on the target hardware. These test routines are low level, application specific programs defined by the customer's testing requirements. The customer may then vary parameters passed to the test routines as well as the test sequence. This allows test technicians to modify test parameters and test sequences without changing the underlying software. This semi-custom software approach is used in most large scale integrated circuit test systems and PC board test systems.
