Humidity Chamber Control
This system controls an environmental chamber for the testing the avalanche angle of dry powders under varying temperature and humidity conditions. The system includes a variable speed circulation pump, 3 bi-stable air valves, air cooler, air heater and humidity generator. The color graphical user interface allows operators to see the complete system status at a glance. Different setups are programmable for different materials and are stored in a local database. This system is hosted by a flat panel Touch Screen integrated PC. Controls settings are modified by the touch of the operator. Keyboard entry is optional. Behind the scenes are the controls for the system devices. These include solenoid valves to direct gas flow, variable AC heater controls to create humidity, variable speed PWM motor controls for the pumps and tumbler drum and low noise sensors to give feedback of temperature, humidity, flow rate, motor speed and pressure.
